You are no longer strangers but are of God’s household. (Ephesians 2:19-20)
Welcome to the faith family of Old Austin United Methodist Church. We love to worship Jesus Christ, pray together, care for one another in good times and bad, study God’s Word, and fellowship in Christian love.
I became a part of Old Austin UMC in July 2015. A month later, a terrible tragedy rocked my family – a car accident that claimed the life of my father-in-law and left my daughter in a back brace for several months. The people of the church shared the love of Jesus Christ with me and my family in so many ways during that time – they made me feel like I was home – a member of the church family! And I can truly say that is the nature of the folks at Old Austin UMC. We like to fellowship with pot-lucks almost monthly. There are seasonal small group Bible studies and movie nights as well as the traditional Sunday School hour for adults and children. The people of Old Austin UMC believe in the power of prayer. We continue to learn and grow in how to pray for each other and the community.
If you haven’t yet, come and visit us! Sunday school hour is 9:00 every Sunday morning followed by 10:00 worship. We would love the chance to meet you and share God’s love with you.

As a reminder, Old Austin UMC continually collects non-perishable food items for the food bank at Cabot UMC. Bring your donation(s) to Church every Sunday for drop off…..even if it’s just a can or two. It ALL adds up!
